That would be useful idiot of the Republicans and Russians. But, I repeat myself there. ?From Driftglass with a hat tip to Green Eagle and Infidel who sent me to GE. It's a tangled web, the interwebs.
Why would we have a tie on such an egregious nominee?
Because Democrats serve corporate interests.
That's a Jill Stein tweet. She's the regular kind of idiot, too.
That Jill Stein became a useful idiot for Putin and the Russians shouldn't surprise me. Here's what I wrote about her and Gary Johnson making the final round of the Free and Equal Debate in November 2012, which was broadcast on Russia Today/RT America.
"I have this feeling the two candidates will agree as much on an anti-interventionist foreign policy just as much as Obama and Romney agreed on an interventionist one. Russia Today couldn't ask for a better pair of candidates."
Thank you so much for that post. I didn't realize there even was a third party debate. I had a post up about Stein going to Moscow and trashing the US and then turning around and praising the Utopia that is Russia.
My local Green for Congress reportedly might have a primary challenge next time. I'll pay money to see the debate. He ran last 2 times. The Green in 2012 for Congress got disowned by GP Prime for comments he made. He said immigrant workers should learn to speak English or get their asses out. The reason? It's harmful for cows to hear Spanish and not English spoken.
You're welcome. There was one last year, too, except it was not even good enough for Johnson and Stein. Instead, the attendees were the nominees of the Constitution Party, Socialist Party, and Reform Party (yes, it still exists). That was an event of political C-listers that the B-listers didn't think was worth attending.
As for your local Green concern troll congressional candidate, I can see why the Green Party would disavow him. Three years ago, I wrote that "[t]he Greens might go for restricting immigration except that they don't want to be seen as racist, either. Since being pro-redistribution and anti-racist are both Left positions, it's hard to be anti-immigrant and be seen as Left in the U.S. these days." That written, his rationale is perfectly Green, e.g., nutty.
